Aperol Spritz, But Upgraded

Summer is in full swing, and if you’re on the search for the perfect twist on an aperol spritz, look no further.

This recipe is inspired by my favorite spritz, The Halcyon Spritz served at Quality Italian.

Ingredients 

  • 3 oz Prosecco

  • 1-1/2 oz Fresh-pressed grapefruit juice

  • 1 oz Aperol

  • 1/2 oz Pomegranate juice (or molasses)

  • Ice

Instructions 

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh-pressed grapefruit juice, Aperol, and pomegranate molasses.

  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake gently to combine and chill the ingredients.

  3. Strain the mixture into a wine glass filled with fresh ice.

  4. Top with the Prosecco, stir lightly to incorporate, and serve.
